This is a rising 7 year old stallion by Voltaire II who's pedigree features some of the finest jumping horses in Europe. His sire Voltaire is the result of crossing two outstanding bloodlines Furioso II and Gotthard.

Furioso II produced 200 State Premium Mares and 68 approved Stallions to stand at stud in several continents. One can easily say that Furioso II has influenced the breeding industry worldwide. The dams sire is Gotthard is, well after his death, almost a legend in German Sporthorse breeding and his name is synonymous with the Hanovarian Showjumper.

Voltaire II's dam is the mare Daydyne by the Dutch sire Nimmedor whose influence in breeding jumpers has been significant with 30 Approved Stallions standing worldwide. Nimmedor was performance tested in 1975 and left no doubt as to his particular specialty - jumping. He was ridden at International level and jumped in various World Cups.

He was invited to go to the Los Angeles Olympic Games but the owners declined, deciding to devote Nimmedor to his breeding activities. In NZ Voltaire II's progeny have already been making an impact in young horse Showjumping classes…….

Craighaven Leviosa's dam is by Kingsway Diamond who needs no introduction. His dam was by In the Purple out of a Kurdistan mare. These TB sires appear frequently in the pedigrees of many top NZ jumpers.

Craighaven Leviosa is the classic jumping type with a tremendous shoulder and lots of power behind. He is going kindly under saddle and has shown superb technique over free jumps. We hope to have him competing this season in age group classes and think he has the ability and temperament to make a serious competition Stallion.
